Multiple Solutions for Each Cosmetic Problem
The best solution may be determined by the combination of problems you wish to solve. Some solutions can solve multiple problems in one treatment, while some problems respond best to a combination of procedures.
Your lifestyle and values play a large role in your choice of treatment options. For instance, slight crookedness can be addressed either:
- With Invisalign, giving you truly straight teeth over a period of several months if you can allow the time and care for this solution; or
- With porcelain veneers, if you need a quick solution to enhance your smile
Porcelain veneers can address many minor dental defects all at once, such as chipped teeth, discoloration and gaps between teeth. They can even correct misshapen teeth if the condition is not too severe. But dental bonding can also correct those problems, and the choice is yours to a large extent.
Although many people accept their gummy smile as inevitable, this condition is easily corrected. If you have any missing teeth, it is important to replace both the tooth and the tooth root in the jawbone.
