Mark's Treatment Philosphy
I am a solo, fee-for-service dentist in Maplewood, MN. Every part of our office vision and mission is centered on getting to know our patients and guiding them to be stronger advocates for their own health. The more we know about their goals the more we are likely to offer services that are in alignment of them. Being that we are not affiliated with any specific dental insurance plans and their restrictive reimbursement schedules, we have the freedom to take the appropriate time with each individual and work with them in a way that “fits” for them.
In my 13 years of clinical practice I have found that the individuals who are most involved in their care are the healthiest – not a shock for you to read I’m sure.
Time
We recognize that in today's hustle-bustle world many people are tired of being treated just like a number, and that those with complex problems need personal attention to receive appropriate care. To this end, we reserve time in our schedule for only one patient at a time so that each person receives our undivided attention and assistance.
We Listen
Many people want a dental team who takes the time to listen, to recognize their uniqueness and the complexity of their circumstances. Many also seek a dental team who will allow them to participate in the decision-making process. We represent this type of practice. Our goal is make sure you are “heard” and not “sold”.
Phased Treatment
We help you determine the most appropriate treatment plan to fit into your life. We pay attention to the financial, time and stress aspects of treatment. We know at different times or under different circumstances a person’s needs change. We frequently phase dental treatment over a period of time that is appropriate and comfortable for your unique circumstances.
