Dr. Kleive
Dr. Mark Kleive DDS (most of his patients call him Mark), has a strong passion for excellence in dentistry. This passion has led to a clear understanding of both the artistry and science of the profession, as both are necessary to provide care which combines natural beauty with predictable and optimal function.
Dr. Kleive knows that many people are tired of being treated like items on an assembly line and would rather receive some personal attention. He has a genuine interest in each patient he treats and will always take the time to listen to you. Part of his desire to give superior dental care is his preference of including you in the planning of your treatment. Patient education is always a high priority and he likes to work as a team with each patient, attending to your goals and offering his experienced recommendations.
He also understands his role as a comprehensive healthcare provider. Dr. Kleive’s philosophy toward care helps people experience the link between the health of their mouth and their general health.
Professional Affiliations
Dr. Kleive is a 1997 graduate with distinction from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and maintains a teaching affiliation there. Personal Background
A native of Two Harbors, MN, Dr. Kleive grew up with five siblings on a 100-acre hobby farm. He enjoys sharing these experiences which have shaped his life. Mark is an avid cyclist and enjoys just about everything associated with the outdoors, especially canoeing and hiking. He lives in Stillwater with his wife Nicki, a practicing pediatrician, and their twin girls.
