Creating the Plan
The plan for your smile makeover will be tailored to accomplish your goals with end results of good dental health as well as outstanding aesthetic results. Your smile makeover could include any combination of procedures. It might start with tooth whitening, since porcelain veneers could then be matched to the new tooth color. If you have old metal fillings, Dr. Kleive could replace them with porcelain inlays or onlays which will look like part of the tooth.
If you feel your smile is too “gummy”, Dr. Kleive could do some gum recontouring to expose more of the tooth tissue in your smile. Any gaps left by missing teeth could be filled with porcelain teeth anchored by dental implants. There are other possibilities too, depending on what your overall goal is and your overall dental status.
Creating the plan before you undergo any procedures ensures that you do not have overlapping procedures or any unnecessary dental work. In the long run, this saves you time and money, and is easier on your teeth.
